General Suggestions

Be prepared.  The 30 minute time limit means that you need to know what you want to purchase before you begin.

1.       A list of available issue after (leftover) licenses is available here.  NOTE: that this list shows the quantity of licenses not yet purchased.  It is possible that some of these licenses may not be available for sale because another sportsperson has already reserved licenses by putting them in his/her shopping cart.

2.       Maps to help with selecting a hunt area are available for residents and nonresidents.  You do not want to be reviewing maps to select a hunt area once the 30 minute clock has started.

3.       The 30 minute time limit begins when you reserve the first license, and the message, “This transaction must be completed within 30 minutes, or the reserved licenses will be released”, will be displayed.

4.       Print the sample Conservation Stamp before purchasing one, to make sure that your computer and printer does not have any problems with printing it.

5.       You may always return as an individual to view previously purchased licenses.  You will also be able to reprint Conservation Stamps.

6.       Understand the license limits and the concept of Exception Areas.  More information on this topic may be found here.

7.       Use the Exit button at the bottom of the page if you decide to exit a transaction.  This will release any licenses you currently have reserved.

8.       Additional help may be found in the Frequently Asked Questions section.

In order to simplify the purchase process, you may select from one of two purchase options, group or individual.

Group Purchase

Group Purchase Guidelines

1.       A group purchase is the purchase of a single set of antelope, deer or elk licenses.

2.       The purchase will be for a single species, hunt area/type.  In other words, everyone in the group is hunting for the same species, with a license for the same hunt area/type.

3.       The group may include 2 to 6 sportspersons.

4.       The group may include both residents and nonresidents.

5.       The group may contain youths, adults and pioneers.

6.       You will have 30 minutes to complete the transaction.

7.       If you delete licenses from the shopping cart, you will not be able to go back and add those licenses again in this transaction.

8.       All licenses for the group will be paid for with a single credit card at checkout.

9.       The transaction is not complete until you have received a receipt.

10.   You may return at any time to make additional group purchases up to the license limits
