Wyoming Game and Fish Department Delivery and Timing of Licenses/Refunds

A computerized, random selection process will determine successful applicants. If the applicant is successful, the license should be mailed within 30 business days of the draw result date. License fees are returned to unsuccessful applicants within 10 business days of the draw result date.

Unsuccessful applicants will have a credit applied back to the credit card that was used for the submission of the online application. To assist in this process, please ensure that the credit card used has an expiration date valid for the time period through which the drawing will be conducted. The Department will issue refund warrants in all circumstances when the Department is notified by the credit card provider that the credit card is no longer valid for processing a credit back to the card.

Applicants who do not receive a license or refund within 30 business days following the draw result date should notify the Department at 307-777-4600.  Applicants who wish to obtain results prior to mail notification may access this information at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department Web Site or by calling 307-777-4600.
